Operations Support

  • Support Supply Chain Centers in the US, Canada and select International markets with cost effective ad hoc transportation solutions
  • Develop tailored transportation programs to bridge capacity gaps (operational, production or warehousing) during peak sales periods
  • Provide carrier selection and expedite support for inventory and MRO transportation moves
  • Directly support capital expenditure procurement and transportation of dough trays
  • Assist with transportation planning during supplier transitions or during periods of inventory allocation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree w/emphasis on Logistics or equivalent work experience
  • 5 to 9 years’ experience in distribution and/or transportation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of compliance regulations and or concepts
  • Familiarity with Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) preferred
  • Knowledge of NAFTA and additional international freight documentation requirements a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Prior experience with a transportation management system
  • Thorough working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
  • Ability to handle urgent matters outside of normal business hours
  • Ability to travel as needed
