Essential Responsibilities   Leadership – Actively assume a senior level role the in management of all business related activities of assigned programs.  Provide guidance to Program Managers, Technical Leads, Program Control Analysts, and Program Schedulers / Planners related to performance of contracts.  Promote a highly effective program team approach to the execution of SSG programs.  Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.   Program Control – Provide senior level leadership to assigned Program Management Office to meet and / or exceed program cost and schedule objectives. Specific duties will include:  Monitoring financial performance of multiple contracts (typically fixed price and cost plus);   development of time-phased budgets and estimates; establishment of key performance metrics and milestones; reporting of Program(s) cost and schedule variances in accordance with EVMS processes and procedures; ETC/EAC preparation; risk and opportunity management, and reporting and presentation of program performance data to division and sector management team as well as customer.     Estimating and Pricing – Support review of program cost estimates and proposal pricing to include: review of basis of estimate, management charts, proposal cost volume, and providing support for fact finding, negotiations and certifications as required.   Financial Planning & Analysis - Supportfinancial planning and analysis such asbudgeting,forecasting,cash flow, revenue recognition, programrisk and profit assessment, program funding, and special projects. 


Qualifications/ Requirements  

  • BS/BA and 15 plus years of business / financial management experience in the Defense/Aerospace industry that includes a background in program control / EVMS, financial planning and analysis, proposal preparation, contract review and financial oversight.
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) processes and systems is essential to this position.
  • Prior team leadership experience and working knowledge of EVMS tools such as Deltek MPM / Deltek COBRA and financialreporting systems such as Deltek-Costpoint is strongly preferred.
  • Active TS/SCI (SSBI) security clearance required.
