ROLE of the POSITION
The University of Nevada Las Vegas, Department of Health Care Administration is seeking a Program Director for its Master of Health Care Administration Programs (MHA and EMHA). Responsibilities include recruitment and retention of students, marketing HCA programs, overseeing and facilitating accreditation activities including Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) and other self-studies and reports, oversee student compliance with matriculation, being a resource for students to assist them with academic issues, working with department advisory board and enhancing community relations and strengthening and maintaining alumni relations. Candidate will also have the opportunity to teach in the department's programs based on their area of expertise.
This position requires a minimum of a Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and one to three years of related professional experience. A PhD degree is preferred, but not necessary depending on work experience. Experience with accreditation from CAHME, FACHE, and/or CEPH preferred.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
