- Advises Project Managers and Project Delivery Team members and other elements concerning the overall complex scheduling of the Life Cycle Project Management Program for the planning, design, and construction.
- As the senior policy advisor, advises leadership on program schedules related to the program missions, such as budget, contracting, and information management.
- Utilizes state-of-the art software tools and computer programs in the development and analysis of project schedule coordination and integration for the planning and construction of multiple projects.
- Coordinates with Project Delivery Teams, Program Managers, and the Financial Teams to assure funds are available for established schedules.
- Reviews and applies regulations and/or policies to assist the Project Managers make schedule decisions related to project execution, and/or resolve workload management issues with middle and/or senior management.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Independently developing and analyzing complex project schedules using the automated project management systems Primavera Professional and P6Web; 2) Advising and leading coordination with members of the Project Delivery Teams, Project Managers, staff, and senior leaders regarding detailed project status including project scope, schedule, and budget; 3) Independently reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating reports for the overall program and troubleshooting project progress and providing corrective actions to maintain schedule and cost performance; and 4) Demonstrated proficiency for 5 or more years with Oracle Primavera systems and expertise in program/project scheduling.. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
