Key Duties

  • Provide project and program management expertise to government customers in support of acquisition of major automated information systems

  • Provide support to the preparation and evaluation of technical documents, papers, studies, analysis, and briefings in support of acquisition of major automated information systems

  • Prepare and execute detailed analyses of project and program management activities

  • Provide support for developing and processing program acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs for automated information systems in support of Program Manager and Portfolio Manager reviews

  • Coordinate with integrated product team leads and functional leads to validate system cost, schedule, and performance statuses and to update briefing materials as required

  • Plan, coordinate, and support configuration control boards

  • Update organizational strategic plans

  • Maintain document repositories on organizational SharePoint sites



  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in program management , technical or business analysis; 2 years of which must be related to information systems acquisition and lifecycle management

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience maintaining SharePoint document repositories and user accounts

  • Demonstrated experience supporting configuration control boards (or equivalent) and working with IT databases and information repositories

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in program / project evaluations, documentation, and status and project schedulereporting and analysis

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the requirements of the Department of Defense 5000 series

  • Demonstrated experience working with government information technology systems, processes, tools, and methods

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a large and diverse team

  • BS or BA degree in a Business, Management, or relevant discipline from an accredited college/university

    • AS or AA degree from an accredited college and an additional 4 years of experience; OR an additional 6 years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree
