Position SummaryEngage with key customers, manage accounts and oversee the work of Professional Service team members responsible for product implementations and deployments into business infrastructures.Ensures that organizations have first-hand access to their rich expertise during the design and deployment of the solution in order to fully leverage proven best practices from start to finish. While delivering solutions tailored specifically to organizations, they are able to dramatically accelerate their deployment efforts and reduce the workload on their internal IT staff, allowing them to focus on projects that require their uniqueDevelop, implement and execute policies concerning the methodological, strategical, technical, personnel and day-to-day management of the Professional Services team;Maintain a strategic alliance with executive team thereby keeping Professional Services team aligned with overall company goals and strategies;Supervise work of cross-functional, global resources from Product Management, Product Development, and Product Support when those teams collaborate with Professional Services team;Responsible for keeping the team focused on the utilization of strategies that ensure long-term solution generation;Validate team members’ design decisions and assess the overall deployment readiness of a product;Oversee the development and implementation of detailed technology solutions for users of Druva’s proprietary products, solutions, tools, and technologies;Define business needs, including developing proposals to meet those needs as well as overseeing the implementation and execution of the complete project solution.Strategize and allocate assignments to team members based on workload and technical ability.Review team members’ work before implementation.

Professional Services team’s personnel matters such as:

    • New hire recruitment, training, orientation, and mentorship.
    • Independent authority to authorize/approve team members’ promotion and leave requests.
    • Team member development and growth within Druva.
    • Assess and evaluate Professional Services team members’ performanceTrack and measure the contribution to the Services department’s billable hours, i.e., whether the Professional Services team was fully engaged and utilized on key accounts.
    • Performance against Services department’s budget.
    • Efficient operation in role and in relation to larger Services department.

Experience:

    • Managing a 10+ Person team for 3+ years
    • 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles with at least 3+ years as a Consultant
    • Experience with a SaaS company or demonstrable deep knowledge of SaaS practices.
    • Experience building processes to improve team efficiency.
    • Experience measuring and tracking team & project efficiencies.
