The IZEA Professional Selling Program (IPSP) is a full-time entry-level program designed to provide recent college graduates and sales professionals with less than 2 years of experience under their belts with a best in class sales training in the exciting Social and Content Marketing industry. Focusing on an integrative approach, the program features a cross-functional, company-wide learning experience within IZEA's Managed Services division.
IPSP candidates will participate in three distinct phases of the program, all designed to educate on all things social/content marketing, measure sales acumen and performance, and grow professional capabilities. Candidates will adhere to rigorous testing and review standards while continuing to develop, nurture, and leverage the necessary skills to become a successful sales person in our space.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be considered for various opportunities within regional sales pods at IZEA. While not everyone will "pass" each candidate will be awarded with an IZEA Sales Process professional certification at the end of the formal training period.
The next IPSP class is starting in September and consists of three training phases: IZEA Classroom, Practical Applications, and Ramping Period. Throughout the program, you will be placed in a cohort of other candidates and will all work together to learn the basics, apply your skills, and sell-through to clients.
The IZEA Classroom phase will consist of a 30-day intensive training regime where you'll learn and test against everything from IZEA's values to industry specifics and the way that we sell. The next 60-day Practical Applications phase will take that classroom knowledge and apply it to outbound prospecting as you start to build a book of business.
At the end of your first 90 days with IZEA, we will conduct a full review of your test scores, ability to apply what you've learned, and overall fit with the company. Those that pass this portion of the program will be awarded an achievement bonus and are invited to participate in a 90-day ramping period where you will continue to hone your skills and attain interim quota goals.
