Production Supervisor

Position Summary
Supervises the activities of production personnel engagedin all facets of the manufacturing function.

Exciting opportunity at a recent acquisition of ARI Packaging, a Menasha Packaging Company. The Production Supervisor – 2nd shift will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all co-packing operations.  This role reports to the Production Manager and will be an integral part of planning, training, and continuous improvement efforts at the plant. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strong leadership ability to provide coaching, mentoring, and training to direct reports, including performance appraisals, professional development, safety training and strategic alignment to company goals and objectives
  • Implement operational strategies in assigned area (s) to ensure company objectives in the areas of safety, productivity, quality, customer service, sales, human capital, cost and profitability
  • Highly skilled at ensuring fair and positive administration of employee related issues and concerns in a proactive and timely manner partnering with Human Resources
  • Knowledge of measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and the quality of the products given to our customer
  • Analytical ability to understand production line efficiencies regarding labor, machinery and production methods
  • Prior knowledge on coordinating manpower requirements by increasing or decreasing personnel and overtime to meet changing conditions

Education & Background

  • High School degreerequired, Bachelor’s degreedesired
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in project management
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes , plant flows and procedures
  • Ability to work 2nd shift
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish desired
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Detail oriented, multi-tasking and ability to handle pressure
  • Problem solving and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent people management, coaching, training and leadership skills
  • Solid computer skills – for example – Outlook Suite, ERP and WMS systems experience


Education / Certifications Education Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent Education Desired
Bachelor’s Degree Skills & Experience Work Experience Required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required
