Job Summary: The Production Performance Manager is a transversal function across the Brewery implementing the Asahi Management system to support achievement of the expected Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment (SQDCME) performance of the site.
For this reason, the function will leverage existing reporting/digitalization capabilities, lean management tools, methods and programs to deliver the expected performance or improvement. Function will develop other approaches as needed to deliver expected objectives.
The Production Performance Manager coordinates the implementation of a comprehensive strategy of operational performance management and continuous improvement programs based on the Asahi Way across all production areas including the Supply Chain organization. They lead the digitalization of operations beyond the core processes, being a bridge between operation functions, site leadership and digital / IT teams delivering enablers (tools & reports) to support the processes. Additionally, they will be an internal champion to drive and teach critical continuous improvement tools such 5 Whys and Fishbone Analysis. Also responsible for evaluating and improving departmental learning & development approaches and activities.
Primary Responsibilities: - Implements and monitors Asahi Way Management System (Lean) across production areas to improve operational SQDMCE ambitious targets based on the loss deployment methodology.
- Builds, implements, coaches, and follows up the Asahi Way Road-Map defined in the brewery based on regional/country/brewery priorities to implement Asahi Way pillars and programs with a 0-loss approach.
- Manages the assessment of the Asahi way maturity in the plant and DC.
- Accountable for brewery loss analysis and co-ordinates and validates Asahi Way Implementation plans for all departments in the plant based on brewery roadmap.
- Develops the plant personnel capability on management fundamentals of Asahi Way through a Training plan and coaching based on brewery roadmap assuring gap competences closure.
- Plan and anticipate required internal and external resources and propose a budget to support the Asahi Way implementation.
- Facilitates implementation of change initiatives under the change management processes defined.
- Improves the plant effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity, safety, quality and reliability and drive a performance culture (SQDCME).
- Coordinates the Performance Management system in the plant (SQDCME KPI tree to cascade the Key performance indicators, visualization, short interval management system, digital platform).
- Monitors the plant savings program and works in close cooperation with Finance to deliver savings (value engineering /fixed costs /variable costs /logistics).
- Drives continuous improvements culture through performance review, checking and challenge.
- Supports the Manufacturing/SC lead functions in undertaking benchmarking, using loss deployment approach, best in class & technological limits to continuously identify and sizes & plan opportunities & improve performance.
- Coordinates the sharing and the implementation of best practice initiatives standardizing common practices.
- Builds the knowledge around Focus Improvement (FI), especially problem solving deploying the country training and coaching plan and validating the competencies of the key users.
- Creates a bridge between operation teams (needs) business system department and #D teams (design) escalating issues, sharing. Challenge, propose. and coordinate simplification and digitalization/reporting activities implementing the digital transformation strategy of our operations: paperless, real-time data.... success story and cascading communications according with brewery needs.
- Organizes and coordinates the development of technical competencies programs with all relevant SMEs in alignment with HR functions.
- Adhere to all PPE and GMP requirements.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: - 3+ years of management of an organizational unit
- 5+ years of previous experience/involvement in lean management in the global company
- Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline
- Familiarity with critical concepts of adult education and approaches to training
- Knowledge of common IT systems with focus on information visualization
- Previous experience in consumer package goods environment
- Lean/Six Sigma certification

$100,000-$120,000/year
