Key Responsibilities:


Siemens Energy, Inc. is currently searching for a Field Service Manager to support our Oil and Gas Business Unit located in Broussard, LA. his position will be responsible for: 


Manage the offshore services part of Siemens Water Solutions business for Gulf of Mexico and related markets, based in the Siemens Energy Broussard location, with responsibility for:

• Scheduling of customer work orders, ensuring on time mobilization to and from customer sites, including review of all required paperwork and permits required to perform the work

• Manage the Service Technicians, establishing work schedules, training plans and objectives, and ensuring employees are current with required permits and paperwork for deployment at customer sites

• Manage the fleet of assets to be in as-ready, serviceable and of highest quality expected by our customers, ensure maintenance, upkeep and replacement scheduling is fully up to date

• Plan the resources required to ensure timely response to customer requests, through the use of permanent and contractstaffing

• Managing and supervising all support activities to ensure equipment is maintained, serviced and in condition to be deployed to customer sites. Ensure the check-in, check-out and staging operations are handled correctly

• Provide all documentation required for customer sales and work orders, for external customer need, EPA and governance, and internal reporting requirements

• Support sales with technical and pricing, assist in customer relations to ensure maintenance and growth of the Offshore Services group

• Provide input to the overall business development strategy for Water Solutions, as pertaining to the Offshore Services scope

• Work with Offshore Service financial partner to assure profitability and revenue targets are met and exceeded for the Offshore Services portion of Water Solutions business, including managing department budgets, asset renewal and regeneration, training and recruitment needs.


The qualifications the ideal candidate will have include: 


•A Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience 

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience in related position 

• 3 to 5 years experience with Flowback, Reverse Osmosis and pipeline pigging operations, well flow backs, and water treatment equipment strongly desired 

• Excellent planning, scheduling and resource management skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in water treatment

• General understanding of offshore work procedures, regulations, EHS, etc.  

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP (or similar database is a plus) 

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record 

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to operate remotely from the main office 

  with minimum supervision 

• Excellent judgment in customer relations and managing company resources 

• Strong team management skills with an emphasis on behavioral based safety practices
