  • Collaborate with plant functional leaders to develop strategic plan for the production team aligned with the Shakeproof Automotive goals to deliver against customer requirements of cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Responsible for leading, directing, and managing all aspects of the daily production activities.
  • Ensures customer demands are met by managing the production process and flow.
  • Provides support and feedback to develop training, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
  • Communicates priorities with leadership team and between department supervisors and plant leadership.
  • Prepares production summaries and downtime reports continuously monitoring output and labor efficiencies.
  • Develops KPIs with plant superintendent to drive positive operational results.
  • Coordinates and directs the activities of the production department to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.
  • Works with the production control team to schedule production and ensures adherence to the production schedule.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to deliver against customer requirements of cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Critically reviews processes to identify opportunities for improvement and develops and implements plans to execute.
  • Identify and develop talent to maximize performance of the plant.
  • Promotes a safety culture and environment and maintains company compliance requirements to OSHA.
  • Develop recommendations of capital projects to drive efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Participates in audits and customer visits.
  • Oversees hiring and performance development.
  • Collaborates with plant superintendent to propose and justify capital improvment projects to drive safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Become an expert in the ITW Toolbox and proficient at conducting continuous improvement activities to improve the overall production process flow.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field and/or relevant experience
  • Mindset of Continuous Improvement
  • 5+ years operational experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Prior experience in automotive industry required
  • Prior supervisory experiencerequired
  • Strong problem solving-skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office
  • Displays personal composure under pressure
  • Projects positive and professional image of ITW
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
