Production Coordinator/Manager Follett Corporation is a $4 billion operator of over 1,200 college bookstores across the country and the largest retailer of college licensed apparel in the US. We reach over 50% of college students in the nation.

This highly visible role will identify venues to manufacture goods and work closely with licensing, oversee every step, and track production.

You will manage the communication & relationship with external and internal vendors, acting as liaison to associated Follett departments to negotiate costs, maintain WIP Tracking, timing and action reports, to ensure the quality of all raw materials, components, and finished goods. 

This position will oversee matters at domestic and overseas factories where product is sampled and finished garments are completed for collections; cost-tracking and spreadsheet maintenance. As the liaison between the designer and fabric, trim and other wholesalers, the Production Manager will be responsible for keeping tabs on inventory items and working to ensure the delivery of the orders on time to stores.

Responsibilities include:

Manage a team of contractors including coordination of sampling and production timelines through the approval processes to ensure that project objectives are met throughout the process.

Work closely with the Design and Artist teams to ensure creative assets are produced on-time and in meeting program guidelines.

Work with Licensing team to ensure timely approval of all artwork submitted.





3 to 5 years' experience in one or more apparel manufacturers that work on printed product, licensed assets, and cut and sew vendors.

Has contacts in overseas and domestic vendors.

Experience with capacity planning.

Strong Communication skills.


Advanced computer skills.
