Summary:
The Production Manager is responsible for directing and controlling the scheduling and production functions along with logistics and warehouse functions.

What you'll do:

  • Direct and control the assembly of multiple electronic gaming machine platforms on separate production lines, as well as peripheral sub-assemblies according to determined production schedules and within established quality standards.
  • Schedule area; production according to forecasted schedule.
  • Manage inventory accuracy levels systematic and physical.
  • Be able to perform basic quality root cause analysis.
  • Mentor assemblers/technicians and supervisor responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide production floor leadership to achieve all Key Process Indicators (KPI’s) which include Health and Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and staff morale.
  • Hire, discipline, train and evaluate all production staff as required.
  • Facilitates employee involvement in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Determines key integration processes and develop Key Process Indicators to optimize performance efficiencies and management reporting.
  • Ensures adequate supply of production parts through interaction with the warehousing function.
  • Analyze Production reports and takes appropriate action to correct problems.
  • Be able to manage multiple production areas simultaneously.
  • Provides continuous improvement towards world class manufacturing as training and opportunities are available.
  • Control hazardous material according to Federal and State EPA regulations.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Explain and ensure that subordinate personnel understand the performance management and compensation review processes.
  • Perform employee performance counseling and/or take disciplinary actions, coordinated with Human Resources and the Director of Integration, as required to ensure that employee performance standards are maintained.
  • Monitor employee attendance and punctuality and take disciplinary action as required to ensure compliance with attendance policy.
  • Production is responsible for directing and controlling the Las Vegas scheduling and production functions along with logistics and warehouse functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Managers / Supervisors /Team Leaders must:

  • Assess, review the effectiveness and consult with their team on any proposed changes of the OSHA Management System and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure the health, safety and welfare of all employees, visitors and contractors within your area of control.
  • Ensure all relevant sections of the Health and Safety Management plan are implemented and understood.
  • Assess, review the effectiveness and consult with their team on any proposed changes of the OSHA Management System and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure accident / incident investigations are conducted to determine their causes and take appropriate corrective action as required.
  • Ensure injured workers are rehabilitated and an early return to the workplace is achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislative requirements.
  • All other duties as assigned.

 
What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial operations/logistics or related field r equivalent.
  • 5 Years’ experience in production/logistics or related field or its equivalent.
  • Self-starter and require minimum supervision
  • Occasionally tolerate moderate to high stress levels excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Six Sigma green belt certified preferred.
