Our client company is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Operations/Production team to ensure the safety, quality, costing, and product output meets the site budget and timelines.

You must be willing to:

· Develop/implement production tracking/quality control systems to detect production problems

· Initiate/coordinate inventory/cost control programs

· Prepare/maintain production reports

· Set/monitor product quality standards to ensure the quality of finished products

· Develop/train production team

· Develop budgets/approve expenditures for supplies/materials/labor

· Implement/maintain compliance with plant safety/environmental programs (OSHA, PSM, EPA)

· Review processing schedules//production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements/staffing requirements/work procedures/duty assignments

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

· BS Chemical Engineering

· 8+ years experience in Process/ Production Management in batch chemical manufacturing plants

· Experienced with PHA/PSM/OSHA/environmental regulations

· Solid understanding of supply chain/raw material quality/availability
