POSITION: PRODUCTION MANAGER 5 lines food manufacturing facility - 150 people and growing fast - baked goods, snack foods - 3 SHIFTS X 7 DAYS - JUST WON A HUGE CONTRACT WITH A RETAILER.- Parent has over 30 plants. They promote constantly and its a great place to work, long tenures, the company is very active and invests in its employees.
- REQUIRED - This person must have EXTENSIVE LEAN MANUFACTURING KNOWLEDGE AND AT LEAST A CERTIFICATION IN LEAN AND EXPERIENCE IN LEADING LEAN PROJECTS. This person will be working to get this facility and its employees on LEAN and continuous improvement programs that are being developed. So this person will take a key role in LEAN implementation, training and mentoring
- FOOD MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE - But..would look at Pharma or and other related regulated manufacturing area that utilizes LEAN and Continuous improvement heavily
- RELOCATION EXPENSES ARE OFFERED WITH THIS POSITION - STRONG
- COLLEGE DEGREE REQUIRED - ENGINEERING OR BUSINESS, MBA OR FOOD SCIENCE
- DEMONSTRATED LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE - They must show programs that they have driven and results from those programs in LEAN, CI or other areas.
