Position Overview:

Position Overview: The Marketing Production Manager role is critical to dressbarn’s success by ensuring everyone is connected around all projects details and that they are showing up in a way that supports dressbarn’s values. This person should be exceptionally curious, and solution driven. They should be flexible in their approach with a willingness to listen to other’s viewpoints before making decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: The Marketing Production Manager acts as the center of the wheel for all digital and print marketing projects. They are responsible for ensuring all projects meet the requirements of the brief, are executed on time, within budget and of high quality. They receive creative briefs from various marketing team members and are tasked with ensuring all necessary information is on the brief before assigning creative resources and schedules. They manage these projects from kick-off through, execution and final delivery of the materials for launch. Projects including in-store menus, in-store campaigns, product launches, integrated campaigns and promotions.

Vendor Management: In addition to project management, this role will be responsible for the sourcing and management of print vendors. They will build strong relationships and ensure bids are in line with budget. They will be tasked with initiating and managing a company initiative to review and source a single printer for support and efficiencies.

Process Improvement: This role will also be responsible for developing and improving the intake and briefing process. They will manage multi-weekly status meetings to support creative and marketing are aware of project status and use the time to resolve any roadblocks. They will make recommendations for improvements to process in support of the teams.

Employee Management: Perhaps the most important responsibility of the role is the management and development of a marketing Traffic Coordinator. It is important that this person have a supportive approach toward mentoring.

Budget Management: Manages the estimating, invoicing and actualization of all print projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years managing a range of projects for marketing in-house for an agency
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience using a workload/workflow tool.
  • Print production experience with print vendor relationships
  • Digital production experience including email and social
  • Digital production experience
  • Print production experience
  • Experience and comfort working in workflow management tool.
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships within and outside the organization
  • Considers impact of decisions on internal and external customers
  • Is able to be flexible in one’s viewpoints in support of other positions
