Job Description


The Production Control Manager manages the assurance of continuous supply of goods and services to entire Customer base by collaborating with Program Management and Materials Management Teams to ensure demand alignment and to balance financial, manufacturing capacity, risk and other considerations. The manager is responsible for this accuracy and issuance of high level and discrete manufacturing schedules to meet customer demands.



  • Establish and enforce the company wide manufacturing planning & control (MP&C) disciplines necessary to maintain a credible schedule, strong ERP system and S&OP process
  • Create, implement and drive plans to achieve organizational delivery, sales and working capital objectives
  • Generate KPI's for KTL OTD, Aging Work Orders, MRP compliance and production schedules
  • Generate Master Production Schedule, driving towards goal of zero overdue orders
  • Generate production plans for all areas, in line with MRP demand
  • Generate discrete dispatching listings for all fabrication activities
  • Establish and maintain capacity model to allow for precise control of respective cost centers loading and identify any bottlenecks quickly, and resolve as to not impact delivery to our customers
  • Support Sales and Operations Planning meetings to improve order compliance and MRP schedule adherence
  • Perform data analysis within Oracle ERP environment in support of Sales forecasting and meeting of Sales Objectives
  • Manage continuous improvement initiatives related to MP&C, ERP, and/or S&OP process
  • Work closely with departmental managers to optimize utilization of resources and identify any additional resource requirements
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Director of Operations



  • Develop Master Schedule for all manufacturing operations activities
  • Identify long and mid-range resource gaps in human capital or facility capacities
  • Establish and maintain communication channels with Sales, Marketing, Program Management, Materials Management, and Manufacturing to exchange bot mid-term and long range forecast information
  • Provide guidance to Program Management for long term delivery projections
  • Coordinate with Program Management to maintain alignment to customer PO's to mid-term planning schedule
  • Establish vehicle to identify and communicate gaps in meeting demand and coordinate with Operations and Program Management when resolution plan is aligned
  • Work with Procurement to understand material supply against demand; provide early warning to production supply gaps
  • Solid background with continuous improvement tools and Lean principles



  • Bachelordegree in Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field
  • A minimum of 8years of experience in materials management, forecastingquantitative analysis and inventory management in high pace environment
  • Oracle ERP and MS Office experience. APICS certification highly preferred
  • Previous Management or Supervisory experience
