Full Job Description

Job Description:

BW Papersystems is seeking an experienced Production Control Coordinator with a strong understanding of operational procedures and tools developed through extensive hands-on experience. In this role, you will work with minimal supervision, providing guidance and training to less experienced team members while addressing complex, non-routine challenges that require thoughtful analysis and problem-solving. You will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the delivery of parts and assemblies from the machine shop to the other departments.

Key Responsibilities/Complexities:

  • Reviews capacity plan and production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements.

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of machine shop operations, including familiarity with machining processes, equipment, and machine tools to effectively support workflow and production needs.

  • Collaborates with supply chain and stores to determine material availability and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments according to job order priorities

  • Communicates in-plant transfer of materials required to meet production schedules to other departments.

  • Compiles manual or computerized records, such as in process production reports, and communicate them to department supervisors.

  • Arranges for internal repair of parts with quality defects. Determines and communicates impact to planned production to department supervisors.

  • May mentor, coach, or guide less experienced team members

  • Fills in for capacity and/or operations planner

  • Experienced with multiple computer program systems (Microsoft 365, Infor XA, Power BI, Experience with ERP systems such SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.)

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

  • 4+ years of Planning/Scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment

The approximate pay range for this position is $76K - $115K annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
