As a Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) Vice President level Product Owner Manager III, you will be focused on product, innovation, and change management across WLS. Working closely with the Technology and Operations teams, they will be responsible for streamlining and digitizing the loan origination processes.

You will coordinate with both WLS Operations resources and Technology leaders to scope current processes, brainstorm/design new solutions, and then build/implement those solutions to be rapidly deployed to production. As a leader, you will work closely with WLS Ops teams to develop a deep understanding of each process in scope to create an automated solution leveraging our technology suite. This will also involve coordination and partnership with Tech teams to develop precise requirements, design user-friendly interfaces, and ensure a rigorous testing process.

The position requires a results-focused, process-disciplined leader with solid project management and facilitation skillsets to deliver against an implementation schedule. In addition, you will utilize your precise thinking abilities to develop and have the transformation vision while collaborating across a diverse set of stakeholders, managing relationships with them, and regularly presenting to JPM leadership teams.

This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change. This role is only supported in one of the following locations: Newark, DE; Chicago, IL; Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with stakeholders to prioritize deployments based on cost / benefit trade-offs
  • Drive process discipline across the vision, development, and implementation life cycle
  • Use a framework to communicate program and project level details and timelines with employees within WLS
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across WLS, Digital, and various Technology teams, including coordinating User Acceptance Testing, ensuring user engagement and testing rigor
  • Think strategically and tactically, to design and implement deliverables, with the flexibility to adjust to new innovations, regulations, and priorities
  • Implement resource, governance, and organization structure to deliver the transformational initiatives as required in order to deliver results in a complex environment
  • Effectively communicate to provide regular updates to leadership of the Commercial Bank and WLS, including presentations, executive summaries, and summary metrics


Required Qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 5+ yearsof experience implementing operational change management or technology products;
  • Proven ability to lead large scale, cross-functional initiatives and passion for process innovation, design, and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of colleagues and management, across business and technology, both written and verbal
  • Experience in Agile methodology with Certified Scrum Master or Certified Product Owner a plus
  • Previous expertise and a true passion for process innovation, design, and technology
  • Fulfills the strategic vision by staying on top of tactical activities in flight
  • Basic proficiency in JIRA, Tableau, Alteryx. Proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio and MS PowerPoint is a must


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong financial services experience, understanding of the Wholesale Lending business a plus
  • Experience with loan lifecycle and its various process steps/ stages. Loan accounting applications (Loan IQ, ACBS, Strategy…) experience is a plus
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with implementing and using workflow tools
