Summary:

We're looking for a marketer who is passionate about the media landscape and marketing shows and entertainment content to consumers. You will lead marketing creative development, promotions and campaigns for a suite of shows on Watch with the goal of driving viewership, engagement and increasing adoption of the Watch product.

The right person is a strategic and creative entertainment marketer who has managed agencies to develop promotional assets, has led innovative social campaigns, and has driven viewership and fan engagement with shows. This person brings innovation and audience insights to creative development, but also excels in project management and can execute flawlessly and with a high quality bar. Most importantly, this person cares deeply about establishing Facebook as a top-of-mind place for consumers to watch and have a unique social experience with shows and keeps that at the forefront of marketing efforts.

Required Skills:

  1. Responsible for marketing new shows on Watch and driving results both for the shows and the Watch product.

  2. Work with an agency to create positioning, identity, and core marketing assets like key art, trailers, and promos for new shows on Watch.

  3. Develop, launch and manage custom digital campaigns for Facebook shows, managing the entire lifecycle from creative ideation and delivery to pre-promotion to launch to ongoing viewer engagement, results analysis and campaign optimization.

  4. Develop promotional plans and integrated marketing moments for new shows on Watch, collaborating closely with development, PR, media strategy and social teams.

  5. Cultivate a strong relationship with our creative agency, helping inspire the best work and improving processes for feedback cycles and project management of deliverables.

  6. Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to inform positioning, creative assets, and campaigns.

  7. Communicate with legal, policy, and partnerships team to clear assets for promotional use.

  8. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to map out deliverables and timelines, frame creative feedback to the agency, schedule show kick-offs, and manage asset delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in marketing at an entertainment platform or network.

  2. Bachelors degree

  3. Proven record of creativity and innovation in the social media space, especially on Facebook and Instagram, for entertainment and/or content driven brands.

  4. Experience in demonstrated campaign performance across marketing channels, such as video, paid social, mobile, and rich media.

  5. Communication skills and experience communicating with creative teams, legal, marketing and ops.

  6. Experience managing an agency for daily workstreams and creative deliverables as well as working with marketing cross-functional teams including creative, research, analytics and media.

  7. Ability to thrive in a very fluid and rapidly changing environment with the ability to adapt and to spot issues early and escalate.

  8. Consumer marketing experience and knowledge in the consumer video landscape and drivers of consumer video consumption habits.

  9. Creative and analytic mindset, putting forth best in class execution within a measurable and data driven framework.
