In this role, you will build products including message arcs, product/solution briefs, workshop kits and white papers to name a few for internal and external audiences. You will work closely with the OCI security organization including engineers responsible for protecting Oracle Cloud as well as the product management teams that define the security products and applications which Oracle and its customers use to securely transform their businesses. To be successful you will be a subject matter expert and OCI security liaison to customers. You need to be equally comfortable writing and speaking on those subjects to audiences of varied size and technical background.

Part of your skills for the role include conducting market and industry analyses, using data to shape content themes and narratives and delivering that content in multiple forms and through multiple channels including blogs, podcasts, social posts, and analyst briefings among others.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an internal advocate for OCI Security
  • Build customer-centric best-in-class marketing assets
  • Work closely with OCI Security Group and OCI product management to develop and deliver differentiated value propositions
  • Bring the OCI Security message to the OCI field, customers and industry influencers
  • Identify and create compelling content including written, graphics, video and presentations
  • Spearhead opportunities to innovate and tell customer stories in highly engaging ways



Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technology product marketing.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in product management or product marketing for security
  • Experience working within internal security teams (ex. SOC, incident response, red team)
  • Baseline knowledge of cloud computing and cloud security architecture
  • Exceptional written and oral presentation skills
  • Uncompromising attention to detail and technical accuracy

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
