Product Marketing Manager
The primary duty of this role is to keep us at the forefront of innovation and product portfolio competitiveness with new products. This involves maintaining a steady stream of successful new product introductions. The new product manager will conduct market research, identify new product opportunities and bring them to market. Viable opportunities will be initiated for development through the our process. A 3 to 5-year new product roadmap will be maintained to achieve annual growth objectives from new products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Determines the future of our new product plans. Writes opportunity statements for new products. Defines business case metrics for new products and sees them through to successful completion. Works with cross-functional departments through the PDS process? especially with Engineering and Purchasing on new product development. Works in concert with sustaining product manager for overall competitiveness and growth of our product portfolio. Maintains a global view of product portfolio? coordinates with product managers outside of North America. Manages new products post launch to ensure they meet defined payback metrics. Creates marketing launch plans for new products, works withmarketing on executing new product launches. Owns the key messages communicated for respective products. Supportssales teams on selling new products. Ensures customers are satisfied with new products. Performs other relevant duties as assigned; i.e. special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.

Education/Experience:Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, MBA preferred. 7 to 10 years?experience managing new products in a consumer products or appliance company. Desired Skills/Experience: ? Has the ability to conduct and interpret primary & secondary market research in order to define new product opportunities. Experienced with maintaining a multi-year new product plan.
