Responsible for developing and executing short and long-term marketing programs and product lines by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Working with the VP of Global Marketing, develops product line business plans, including objectives, strategies, and tactics, as well as corresponding budgets.
Manages product line P&L with input into forecasting, operations, and financial controls.
Assists in identifying new growth opportunities, based on consumer trends and competitive landscape.
Develops consumer and trade promotions and advertising campaigns, working with outside agencies and internal resources.
Manages and tracks performance of trade and consumer media plans and promotional calendars.
Develops retailer tie-ins with Company events and sponsorships.
Leads cross-functional teams in the development of new products and product revisions.
Monitors product, market and sales performance, evaluates market and consumer trends, and makes recommendations for product improvement or discontinuation.
Manages development of sales support materials including sell sheets, catalogs and POS materials.
Prepares reports and presentations for sales meetings; helps develop plans for company exhibits at trade shows.
Domestic travel may be necessary.
Directly supervises the Product Marketing Coordinator(s). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, and resolving problems.
