PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER – AGRIBUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the strategic marketing of Agribusiness Intelligence services to the Commodities & Food sectors internationally, resulting in increased market penetration and revenue growth. Reporting into Agribusiness Intelligence’s Global Head of Marketing, the PMM will work alongside the marketing communications team as well as stakeholders across the business in product management, content, consulting, sales and technology. They will manage a Junior Product Marketing Manager, a new role that they will lead recruitment for.

The focus of the role is to translate core business objectives into tactical marketing plans that drive revenue performance which includes understanding customer groups and their key personas, win/loss analysis and competitors, which together support communication of the value proposition.

Informa Agribusiness Intelligence supports organizations across the global agribusiness value chain information to make strategic and transactional decisions with news, pricing and forecast data, analysis and consulting from the seed and crop protection sector, fertilizers, animal pharmaceuticals, commodities trading, food processing and manufacturing and international regulation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the subject matter expert of existing customers and prospective clients across the Commodities, Food Processing & Manufacturing, Retail, and Regulatory sectors within the Agribusiness value chain. Keep abreast of hot topics, maintain persona documentation, conduct win/loss analysis; to support the senior leadership team by strategically informing growth markets and approach to retain existing and attract new customers.
  • Work with the global marketing communications team to tactically execute campaigns across email, social, SEO and events, as well as maximizing brand exposure and lead generation with third party digital suppliers and design agencies.
  • Recruit, manage and develop a Junior Product Marketing Manager, to support in strategic marketing of the Commodities & Food portfolio and its customer sectors, including mentoring, coaching, performance review and building out personal development plans.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Client facing experience
  • B2B marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Pragmatic Marketing experience is desired
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus
