Role Overview

In this role, you can expect to plan, plan, develop, and execute annual demand and lead generation programs that extend and complement our North American Marketing initiatives. This marketer will drive visibility to, and adoption of, integrated messaging; promote new product launches; and adapt and execute corporate programs to support several financial services business units’ market needs. Some of the projects you will work on include developing, enhancing and revising marketing collateral for web, print or other media channels, as well you will participate in media placement decisions. As you will function as editor for formal sales business communications, strong writing skills are required. Metrics are key to demonstrating the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives and therefore, you will design and implement measurements to analyze messaging program effectiveness and quantify revenue generated from executed programs. This is a highly-independent role and you should be able to effectively work with minimal guidance.

Specifically, in this role, you will:

  • Develop and lead marketing strategy to support business goals for the financial services segment of the business
  • Develop campaign programs to communicate the value of our financial services businesses and generate qualified sales leads
  • Strengthen our brand and facilitate bringing thought leadership to the financial markets we serve
  • Identify media opportunities to promote our broad and deep domain knowledge of financial services markets
  • Identify and plan events that influence consultants, prospects and clients at industry events, internal forums, online exchanges and social media

Overall in this position, you will be responsible for understanding the market, competitor landscape, sales and customer challenges faced and then developing and executing initiatives, programs, and sales tools. In this role, you will monitor, analyze and report measurement against the key performance indicators for field marketing programs.

You will engage with sales and business unit leaders to identify and develop marketing strategies to support annual and quarterly sales goals. Collaborating with marketing peers to execute on marketing initiatives on behalf of sales; groups you will work with include:

As the marketing manager for your business units, you are responsible for managing initiatives horizontally across the team and ensuring we successfully deliver on our marketing commitments.

You will continue to engage with sales and business unit leaders proving feedback and metrics on our marketing initiatives to determine the success of our tactics and / or opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of work-related experience, or Master’s degree and 1 year of work-related experience, or 5 years equivalent work-related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong individual investigative / Project management skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM and marketing technologies
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in event marketing, strategic planning and write up of marketing plans
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and pay close attention to details
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
