At Salesforce, our marketers are storytellers first. We make the complex simple. Our stories are human and relatable, and we take pride in sharing a narrative born out of our customers' success and grounded in an understanding of our products and features. We measure our success by our ability to develop creative and innovative marketing strategies that gain the mindshare of our key buyers and users.
Salesforce does content and events better than anyone, and the Sales Cloud marketing team leads the way by inspiring and informing our audience with relevant content and experiences. We're looking for a new marketer to join that team to help us market our content and events effectively to our target audience of sales leaders and practitioners.
Our content and events team collaborates with key stakeholders across PMM, GTM, creative, digital, campaigns, SEO, and beyond. This product marketer will be a key part of that collaboration to drive the Sales Cloud business forward by marketing our content and events in fresh, relevant ways.
Role Description:
The Product Marketing Manager, Content & Events will develop a deep understanding of the Sales Cloud audience, product offerings, and marketing strategy to create and manage innovative marketing programs. Those marketing programs will support our most important content and event activations across Sales Cloud. In addition to driving smart distribution and marketing strategies for our content and events, this person will also contribute to content in places like slides for events, landing pages, public-facing assets, and our website as needed.
The Product Marketing Manager, Content & Events will bring their creativity, collaboration, and well-rounded digital marketing experience to this team, which focuses on content and event creation across the customer journey. The right marketer will bring proven expertise in planning, launching, and measuring cross-functional marketing efforts across a large team - and they'll be an expert at forging relationships internally so that everyone else is engaged with those efforts.
Someone successful in this role will be results-driven, helping us deliver compelling and differentiated messages through content and events - and ultimately developing and owning the strategy for how we can get the most juice for the squeeze from every piece of content and every event.
