Tessco is currently looking for an exceptional Product Marketing Manager (Commscope) who will be responsible for managing and growing our Commercial Business.  This position is located out of Tessco’s Timonium, Maryland location.


As a Product Marketing Manager in Tessco’s dynamic wireless business, you will be accountable for developing and executing the strategies and initiatives to grow assigned Vendor Partner businesses, including: negotiating business terms for new and existing contracts, selecting the right product offering, driving win-win manufacturer partnerships, optimizing pricing, collaborating with our marketing team to develop compelling product presentations and marketing campaigns as well as supporting and enabling our sales team.  You will work with individuals across our entire organization to grow the business and ensure Tessco is well positioned in the marketplace


  • Build successful Vendor Partner relationships with collaborative strategic go to market planning and objectives
  • Understand your assigned Vendor Partner’s customer program and deal registration process to optimize program pricing
  • Develop and manage the entire product offering for assigned Vendor Partners including product selection, product presentation, pricing, product rationalization and product availability
  • Drive growth of the assigned Vendor Partners to achieve Annual Operating Planbudget goals which may include contract and/or business term negotiation
  • Own the communication and execution of the collaborative go to market strategy and value proposition to internal partners including Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing Services
  • Collaboration with marketing to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, targeted customer campaigns and internal sales tools that differentiates the Vendor Partner’s offer in the market and support the selling process
  • Market Intelligence – be the expert on Tessco’s competition and your assigned Vendor Partner’s competition


  • Results oriented, self-starter
  • 3-10 years of Product Management experience
  • Flexibility to meet change head-on
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiation a plus
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft office
  • Salesforce.comexperience a plus
  • High level of organizational skills with multitasking capabilities
  • Ability to analyze and manage the financials associated with the business
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of documented experience and skills
