Job Summary:

Responsible for new product definition, as well as sustaining introduced new products within the redriver and retimer for NB, Video Switch Box, Monitor, and Type C video applications on a worldwide basis.

Develop, implement and monitor complex business plans to address return on current products, defining next generation products, analyzing competitors and positioning our products

Requires hands-on direct interface with Customers, Field Sales, Applications and Design Groups, furthermore engage with our development partner i.e. Chipset vendors and strategic customers

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with customers and chipset vendors on new system architecture and follow up new protocol standards emerging to define  New Product Proposals (NPP) to capture market opportunities
  • Manage the business of responsible products revenue, margin, forecast and annual plan
  • Drive and builds strong customer relationships and helps evaluate joint partnerships to further position product portfolios.
  • Conduct Market research and review competitive activity on an on-going basis Drive demand creation through key design wins
  • Champion and drive the product release cycle for both cost reduction and innovation of product activities
  • Set pricing strategy and monitor the financial performance of the entire product family
  • Work with Marcom team to create marketing collateral activities such as advertising, exhibition events, forum and public relations to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Co-work with tactical marketing team and operation team in the administration of marketing services including budgetary proposals on new products, quotations, pricing scheduling and samples,
  • Conduct Field Sales and technical Training
  • Travel up to 40%  - international and domestic

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • MSEE degree or equivalent and 15+ years Product Marketing of Semiconductor ICs.  High-speed analog background a PLUS
  • Must have good  knowledge on Redriver/Retimer products
  • Must have solid business experience to manage the products, revenue, margin, forecast and annual plan
  • Driver with Commitment to Task
  • Understanding of redriver/retimer end applications i.e. PC, docking, active cables, video switch box
  • Decision making and problem solving
  • Organization and Planning
  • Strong people interaction and Team Building skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Must be exceptionally strong with MS Word, Excel and Power-point software
