We are looking for a Product Marketing Director to join our team. In this role, you will be the evangelist for our products, lead go-to-marketing communications for our cloud/SaaS offerings, and drive the company product story both internally and externally.
You will be responsible for refining our target market and representative personas, as well as aligning product, sales and marketing efforts to help optimize customer acquisition and retention.
You will drive every facet of the product's journey – from customer requirements, competitive analysis, product positioning, naming, objectives, measurements, and the overall go-to-market product strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Further define and enhance the core value proposition of our service and the market opportunity
Develop a company story that differentiates our product in the market
Evangelize the company story internally and externally, to both technical and business level audiences, across business end-users, partners and home users.
Drive outbound marketing messaging to improve awareness, share of voice, sales pipeline and market position
Create content including blogs, white papers, data sheets, articles, presentations, and sales training materials
Develop thought leadership materials designed to accelerate our business momentum and better engage customers
Serve as a thought leader by engaging regularly with customers, press, analysts, and field teams to drive deeper understanding of VIPRE value proposition and differentiation in the market
Lead market research (quantitative and qualitative) strategy to stay ahead of trends, as well as gain a deep understanding of target segments/verticals to drive business priorities
Collaborate with product development, marketing, sales and support to align and support the go-to-market strategy and execution
Become a subject matter expert for our product and market, and work with product management, sales, marketing and engineering to assist in the design or enhancement of new or existing product lines
Develop pricing strategies to maximize return on investment

In-depth knowledge and experience in cybersecurity market
Track record of published content and/or speaking engagements
Solid people skills and a track-record of working well cross-functionally
Strong project management and leadership experience
Exceptional written and communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills
Comfortable operating in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities
8-10 years previous experience in the cybersecurity industry in product marketing leadership roles
Successful track record in supporting customer growth and improving conversion
through your specific efforts
Background in technology, product and/or consumer marketing
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or other related major required.
