  • Direct, oversee, and consult on messaging for all equities products and product marketing tactics, ensuring regional and global consistency
  • Manage timelines and marketing project plans for all product updates, launches, and major milestones, including internal/external stakeholders and sign-offs
  • Conceptualize, research, write, develop, and/or edit product-related messages for a variety of product marketing and communications campaigns, activities, and tools
  • Facilitate cross-department brainstorming sessions aimed at distilling unique and inspiring product messaging
  • Identify new and innovative ways to deliver product messaging and education, beyond just the written word
  • Manage, and keep up-to-date, our repository of product marketing materials globally
  • Be the go-to person for product marketing information, stats, and updates about Liquidnet’s equities product suite, both locally and globally
  • Be the Marketing lead for campaigns and communications around our product innovation hub, Liquidnet Labs
  • Create, deliver, and present post-campaignreports to key stakeholders, identifying successes, challenges, feedback, metrics, and results
  • Work closely with each regional Marketing Lead to identify unique opportunities to position, message, and promote our product range in specific markets
  • Contribute to idea generation for the broader marketing function


  • A very strong ability in both oral and written communications, including demonstrated writing and editing skills
  • Ability to breakdown complex ideas/concepts/thoughts into easily consumable and compelling marketing that also supports a consistent, evolving story about Liquidnet
  • Must have a passion for product innovation and technology
  • Thorough understanding of institutional trading, financial markets, and/or the asset management industry
  • Knowledge of Liquidnet’s direct and/or indirect competitive landscape
  • A creative thinker and wordsmith who is also analytical and detail oriented
  • Self-starter and a quick learner
  • Customer-serviced focused, team player, active relationship builder, and diplomat
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional global teams, managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities successfully
  • The following would be highly regarded:
    • Project management accreditation
    • Understanding the principles of good design
    • Experience with Salesforce and/or marketing automation technology


  • A masters or undergraduatedegree in marketing and/or communications or equivalent
  • 7+ years of professional experience in a marketing and/or communications capacity, ideally within a related field—trading, asset management, financial services and/or technology
  • A sense of humor and charm
