The Oracle SaaS Product Suite Excellence team is looking for a communications professional to help us amplify our customers' successes with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. We need a creative specialist who can produce a variety of content aimed at increasing market awareness both within and outside the organization. This person will be passionate about writing engaging headlines, tweets, LinkedIn articles, and contributing to press releases and Oracle Newsroom posts. They will be self-driven and ready to take initiative on a variety of projects that we have in the hopper.
This content expert will drive proactive communications programs and work closely with teams in development, PR, content, social, events, and marketing. They will hone their exceptional writing and critical thinking skills, as well as experience leading integrated communications programs and thought leadership campaigns. Responsibilities and Results
Communications strategy and development: You, in concert with key stakeholders, shape the Applications Development's communications platform spanning vision and thought leadership, business strategy, and organizational leadership, from both an internal and external lens.
Creative storytelling: You develop compelling storylines across written communications (e.g., blog posts, presentations, emails, briefing documents, Q&As, video scripts, customer briefings) and social media channels for both internal and external audiences. You synthesize key talking points and align messaging with the strategic vision and goals of the division and company.
Events engagement: You collaborate on and participate in engagements at key internal and external events (e.g., Oracle Live virtual events, Modern Business Experience, Cloud Days, and analyst and media events). This includes developing talking points, partnering with event and design teams as well as working with other stakeholders on content creation.
Executive and cross-team alignment: You build a strong community with all the communications, social, marketing leads, and peers within the Applications Development organization. As a result, you can align and advance executive priorities and increase engagement with target audiences across various channels.
• BA/BS in Communications, Business, Journalism, or Public Relations preferred
• 5-8 years of communications and social media experience, including technology/product and thought leadership programs
• Experience in applications/cloud technology
• Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills
• Results oriented with the ability to thrive under pressure
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
