The Microelectronics Secure Solutions business unit of Mercury Systems develops and manufactures secure, rugged, dense microelectronics products for the space defense and national security markets. Key to our growth is our radiation tolerant storage product line. We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the detailed business planning and execution for this product line. This position will have P&L ownership for the product line within a matrixed organization.

Purpose: This position is for a recognized leader in a professional discipline in the Product Marketing sub-family.
Responsibility Statement: Conducts competitive product analysis and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience to improve the organization's competitive position. Consults with buying personnel to gain advice regarding the types of products expected to be in demand. Develops, and implements highly sophisticated near-term and long-term business strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies, and follow-on products to ensure profitability and positioning in the market. Evaluates the financial aspects of product developments, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss projections, to ensure that product developments are successful and effective and within established budgets. Oversees project selection, monitors product development and develops product launch plans to effectively manage a product or product category's life cycle and ensure profitability.
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline, MBA preferred
Work Experience: 12+ Years
