In this role, you will be responsible for:

Responsible for cross-collaboration with Gracenote music and video content and technology customers, and internal Engineering, Sales, Editorial and Professional Services departments, as well as other Product Managers, to develop and launch new or enhanced products and services, and deliver related data and data infrastructure products: Analyze coverage, quality, and integrity of entertainment metadata and identify optimization and performance improvement opportunities, to better serve customer use-cases. Participate in consumer research to define product interface features and validate new product ideas. Partner with product marketing to translate product features into customer value propositions, and create training and go-to-market material and product usage documentation. Collect and organize product usage, content coverage and industry-related information, serve as a subject matter expert on data/content flows, providing the necessary analysis and data to drive decisions, and act as a liaison between Product, Customer Success, Editorial and Engineering on product features, enhancements, product requirements, customer support issues, and internally agreed-upon technical and architecture initiatives. Evaluate and maintain the integrity of Gracenote's vast content systems, including debugging issues related to data quality and integrity, and simulating customer issues in the data pipeline through exploratory data analysis. Establish process to gather internal and external customer requests, maintain internal roadmaps, craft abstract requests into actionable requirements for engineering, define key success product metrics and build reports/dashboards to monitor progress. Define wireframes for user interface-based reporting products through mock-ups, and validate through stakeholder feedback. Tools and technologies used: Presto, Hive, Elasticsearch, Superset, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQL, Kibana, Tableau, Spotfire, SSRS, Logstash, sqoop, SSIS, Python, Bash script, Jupyter notebook, Confluence Wiki, Jira, Invision, and Axure RP.

FOR THIS ROLE, WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS THAT HAVE:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, sociology, communications, business administration or a related field (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) plus 2 years of experience in consumer and/or technical product management and analysis of B2C (business-to-consumer) and/or B2B (business-to-business) data. This must include 2 years of experience in/with: analyzing data from multiple external and internal data sources, building operations planning models and using data for product concept development; initiating and conducting new product development and key performance indicators (KPI) definition such as data coverage, quality and service performance metrics; data visualization and/or dash-boarding tools such as Tableau; initiating and conducting qualitative and quantitative consumer research to support product planning and launch; using data analysis tools such as SQL Server-based OLAP Cube, and MS Excel; A/B testing; collaborating with cross-functional teams on product initiatives; and working with diverse stakeholders.
