Job Description and Responsibilities

The Product Manager will be a part of Global Products Organization, responsible for developing next generation cardholder engagement products.

Essential Functions

  • Understand drivers and emerging trends in cardholder engagement around the world through market/consumer research, data analysis, inputs from clients and Visa market teams
  • Define strategy for Visa's next generation cardholder engagement products in light of evolving market landscape, Visa's existing/under-development capabilities and competitive dynamics
  • Manage and drive roadmap for next generation cardholder engagement products based on value and effort with inputs from key internal (Technology, Data Science, Finance, Regional Product, Sourcing) and external partners
  • Lead development of new global cardholder engagement products working directly with Visa Technology and vendors
  • Support regions in customization and go-to-market of the new global cardholder engagement products
  • Manage existing and newly deployed global cardholder engagement products in light of observed performance, ongoing feedback from clients and consumers, competitive positioning and emerging strategies

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT : This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 5-10% of the time.


Basic Qualifications

  • 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to translate client needs into business and product requirements
  • Experience in working with UI/UX designers to develop features and functions that delight consumers
  • Good understanding of APIs and experience with exposing products/services via APIs
  • Knowledge and experience managing within Agile Development framework
  • Payments Industry knowledge or experience
  • Experience in ML, AI and data, working closely with data scientists and engineers to launch data products
  • Experience working in global setting and international teams coupled with awareness of market differences and commonalities
  • Travel Industry knowledge or experience

  • Analytical and quantitative skills, bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial analysis
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-organizationally
  • Ability to own and deliver initiatives from conception through completion
  • Leadership skills, strategic thinking and business acumen
