Responsibilities

The Product Manager will be focusing on our Financial Services group with a focus on Mortgage industry. The Product Manager is chartered to lead product strategy, product definition and opportunity identification and assessment for their service category to drive revenue growth. This is a senior level role which requires a self-driven individual who can manage and drive cross-functional teams of senior leaders and individual contributors throughout a matrixed, distributed organization. This position represents Iron Mountain to customers, prospects, partners, competitors, industry analysts and other significant constituencies as well as representing those constituencies within Iron Mountain.

This individual will maintain a current understanding of various industry trends, and analyze and evaluate the marketplace to identify product opportunities/niches. The ideal candidate will coordinate and analyze market research findings and collaborate on the generation of product concepts while also being able to communicate concepts persuasively to a variety of audiences.

  • Drives the development and execution of regional service line strategies and roadmaps.

  • Lead new product development process to develop, implement and manage key product strategies and projects that address market requirements while delivering to all financial objectives.

  • Analyzing current product and service offering financial performance and drive portfolio changes as appropriate.

  • Providing strategic recommendations to management. Managing service categoryfinancial goals.

  • Exercises effective leadership skills for assigned subordinates in the areas of coaching, personnel development and performance management as well as the related management responsibilities of staffing, work assignment, planning, and communications.

  • Provides leadership and manages senior level initiatives and strategic North America initiative plans and programs.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience, with a significant portion in brand management for a market-driven organization.

  • Strong executive facilitation skills and experience related to strategy development and problem solving.

  • Solid strategic analytical skills (i.e., market and competitive dynamics, business performance).

  • Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities.

  • MBA required.

  • Highly seasoned project management skills.

  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills (including presentations), as well as listening and interpretation skills.

  • Excellent people management skills, with an intense focus on the firm’s culture and values.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • High degree of professionalism and integrity.

  • Results oriented.

  • Total travel: 35%; Local travel (Depending on District): 5%; Overnight travel: 30%.

  • Education/Experience: Master's degree/7 - 10 years.
