The Lender Relations Product Manager is responsible for managing the Form Specialist team to ensure all product forms obtain lender approvals and are implemented both internally and externally as required. This includes working closely with the Product Managers, and various departments including Sales, Compliance, and Operations to identify a filing strategy based on the specific dealer and lender requirements. In addition, the Lender Relations Product Manager will be responsible for establishing solid relationships with the lender partners through regular and direct communication.
Strategic thinking, planning, and communicating regularly with lenders to build strong relationships that allow us to provide feedback regarding the requirements process and better position us to effectively resolve issues.
Identify process and documentation improvements to continually improve the overall lender approval timeline and enhance the internal and external customer experience.
Work with the Product Managers and the Sales team to identify alternative solutions in the event lender deadlines cannot be met.
Communicate clearly and effectively with our internal customers (Sales, Dealer Services, IT, Sales Support) regarding the status of approvals and alternative implementation plans.
Manage the Forms Specialist team by providing developmental guidance and leadership including coaching.
Oversee Form Specialist work on the lender approval process, documentation of lender approvals and expiration dates, resolution of issues (forms held for funding, DMS form entitlement requests, expired forms, etc.
Implementation of new and revised product forms with both internal (Dealer Services, IT, Sales Support) and external (Dealer Management System and Menu providers) customers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is in contact with external and internal customers. As an ambassador of our company and brand, this position requires strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.
Minimum 3 years product specific knowledge
Minimum 2 years operational management or equivalent experience
Good understanding of Property & Casualty insurance processes and procedures
Strong system/computer skills-spreadsheets, databases, internet
Familiar with multiple distribution channel processes
F&I experience is not required but is considered a plus
Self-starter, able to prioritize and work independently
Ability to handle multiple projects/assignments at the same time
Well organized and detail oriented
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
