What You'll Do
This role will be responsible for managing the activities of a suite of products offered through various Commercial channels, including but not limited to: Commercial, Business Banking, Small Business and Agent bank channel. These activities will include:
-Managing the product life-cycle and 3rd parties, including development and market launch, for assigned products and markets, setting a competitive and innovative payment strategy utilizing market intelligence to create payment solutions to increase profitable market share.
-Reviewing data to analyze product performance and adjusting project plans when needed to ensure continued success.
-Conducting training / education to internal and external clients on product feature and functionality to ensure maximum utilization.
-Partnering with compliance to ensure that all product feature and functionality meet standards.
-Updating all product documentation and due diligence.
-Completing the outlined 90-Day deliverables: develop working relationship with Functional Partners; get acclimated to UMB's solution offerings and connect with LOB, functional partners, etc. to understand LOB strategy & product strategy; monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit; gain understanding of Product & Market Development annual operating plan and roadmap; gain an understanding of our business model and sales distribution alignment on product revenue goals; and develop a SWOT analysis for the Card solutions

Who You Are
- Undergraduate degree
- 5 years experience in product management
- Graduate degree
- 7 years experience in product management

-Demonstrates strong presentation development skills
-Demonstrates ability to analyze market data and develop programs to market products and support the sales effort
-Demonstrates ability to analyze product financial data and develop positive profit and loss performance
-Demonstrates strong analytical skills to solve problems and make decisions for situations with limited precedents or guidelines
-Demonstrates ability to prioritize daily workload to meet expected deadlines
-Demonstrates strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
