About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding IDEXX’s practice management software requirements and ensuring optimal performance in several different customer environments (for example: server-based, cloud and virtual) by creating (working withProduct Engineering) and commercializing the ideal hardware infrastructure for each.
You will be responsible for product management, roadmap, vendor relationships, supply chain optimization, sales channelpartnership, competitive analysis, market analysis, customer requirements & insight, go-to-market strategy, segmentation, and pricing strategy.

What can you expect?
As stated, you will work with IDEXX’s customers, IDEXX Research & Develop teams, our supply chain specialists and vendor/suppliers to better understand the unique needs of a variety of customer IT environments and leverage that understanding to build the ideal hardware infrastructure for them. You will also help shape IDEXX’s go-forward strategy for it’s hardware business as customers move increasingly from server-based environments to cloud-based environments.
You will work with our Sales organization to train them on new products, you will work with Supply Chain to optimize our offerings, ensure inventory and product delivery. You will work with our vendors, suppliers and procurement to source new solutions, negotiate agreements and ensure IDEXX’s offerings meet the highest standards and our software demands.
What do you need to succeed?
Key skills and abilities relating strong financial acumen, reasoning and analytics, project management, technical understanding, influencing without authority, strong communication and presentation skills, the drive and the ability to take ownership of all aspects associated with managing a product area.
You’ll need familiarity with a variety of IT environments as well as networkarchitectures and an understanding of the hardware that underpins and enables those environments. Operational and business acumen is critical as you optimize the intricate systems that create demand and deliver supply.
