Kforce has a client seeking a Product Manager (Electronics Industry) in Phoenix, Arizona (AZ). Summary: The client is looking for a Product Manager to lead the tactical execution of day-to-day activities for assigned Custom Microelectronic products and strategic customer accounts. This position will interface with the customer daily and owns customer satisfaction for assigned products and strategic accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities: Draw support from the Product Manager, Engineering, Operations, Planning, and Purchasing professionals to:

  • Engage with designated accounts throughout the lifecycle of the product to manage/drive the project schedules, reporting status, and own the tactical interface to the customer for assigned products
  • Acts as a liaison between Customers, Engineering, Operations, and Quality Assurance to ensure customer satisfaction is met
  • Regularly interacts with other departments to insure performance to the project targets and schedules are met
  • Promotes and maintains positive customer relations to both internal & external customers
  • Manage internal/external status meetings on assigned accounts
  • Communicates closely with the Product and Account Managers on matters within the customer base
  • Provide early insight into opportunities and market direction by building relationships with key customer contacts
  • Supports Product Management, Sales, and Marketing in the pursuit of key accounts as required
  • Generates and distributes weekly project progress reports as required
  • Assist Product Manager as needed on quoting, bookings, shipments, scheduling, negotiations, new business, quoting, owning customer relationship, forecast information for BU planning purposes
  • Assist Product Manager on product proposals which include BU info/capabilities, technical plans, compliance matrix, notes, exceptions and clarifications


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Technical or Business field
  • 2-5 years of Product Management experience
  • Strong determination to meet schedule commitments with a track record of meeting customer expectations
  • Demonstrated success of managing projects throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Proven track record demonstrating growing success in a customer facing role (sales, business development, technical marketing) in the electronics industry
  • Able to meet complex, loosely defined objectives with the minimum of supervision
  • Able to analyze complex data sets and draw the correct conclusions
  • Able to define the data sets that needed to drive decisions with data
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Applicants must be fully authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Defense electronics experience preferred
  • Microelectronics experience preferred
  • Experience in a PCB SMT environment
  • Live in, or be prepared to relocate to the Phoenix metro area
