About the Opportunity:
If you are excited about the world of autonomous robotics and have experience bringing products with strong AI / robotics software elements to market, this is a unique opportunity to join a growing team in an emerging product category.
Avidbots’ autonomy system is the heart of our innovation and our products - as leaders in this category, it is our main competitive advantage. As our team expands, we need a seasoned Product Manager to oversee the roadmap and collaborate on the long term planning for our autonomy teams. Our autonomy teams consist of planning, localization and perception teams. The ideal candidate is a seasoned product manager with several years of experience shipping complex software / hardware solutions, particularly in the field of AMRs or other robots. You have a strong technical background and are capable of understanding the complex concepts of autonomy, while also having the outstanding business acumen and communication skills needed to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders in the organization.
In this role you will work closely with the autonomy architects and autonomy’s Technical Product Manager (a.k.a Product Owner) to prepare the roadmap for the autonomy groups, gather feedback from our customers and other data sources, ensure we are delivering the most value to those customers, and prepare different types of communication to keep stakeholders and customers up to date with our developments. The Product Manager will also play a key role in developing the long term planning and financial model for the autonomy group.
