Develops pricing strategies, balancing Enterprise objectives and customer satisfaction.

Works closely with actuarial lead to evaluate and report key success factors including financial aspects, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.  

Works collaboratively with sales leaders to identify sales goals and marketing support

 Uses market analysis, salesforecasting and strategic planning to enable the sale and profitability of products, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends. 

Works closely with internal key stakeholders to identify product design and maintenance impact to administration and technology platforms.


Acts as subject matter expert for implementation team to ensure accurate product plan and rate loads for product implementations and maintenance across all brands.

Recommends product timeline and delivery to coordinate with overall product calendar and corporate project lists.

 Works closely with compliance and marketing to ensure accurate positioning of product across all tools.   

Relationship Development:

Liaison as product expert for third party relationships and alliances with business partners

Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the effective delivery of products and services through internal and external business partnerships.

Actively participates in industry networks, workshops and forums to lead company product position and gather competitive and regulatory insights.

Strategic Thinking/Action: Ability to anticipate future consequences of actions and creatively develop strategies to overcome barriers to meeting organizational goals. Creates a sense of urgency to challenge the  way we do business in order to get new processes, products, services and systems adopted that will drive business results.  Has the ability to help employees manage change.

Project Management: Administers or oversees all aspects and phases of a project.

Ability to coordinate own and others’ actions, manage own time and manage resources to keep project on track.

Fiscal Responsibility: Effectively manages department budget. Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls.


MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); advanced technical skills may be required for specific role (ex. Business Objects, Access, MS Project).


Responsible for Group/Department budgets.

Moderate amount of travel may be required.




Bachelors or better.



5 years:Relevant experience with insurance products.


1 year:Specific Medicare Supplement product experiencepreferred.
