THE PRODUCT AND MARKETING MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Taking a product or program from strategy to concept to production to commercialization, collaborating with creative, customer development and key retailers.
  • Leverages analytics to create solid go-to-market strategy, driving the product positioning, key benefits, and target consumer while also serving as an evangelist for the product offering
  • Develops tactical marketing plans and influences customer store segmentation, targeting and assortment planning to ensure assigned product lines are effectively commercialized
  • Assures and facilitates alignment of segment brand strategy across larger organization, including expansion beyond greetings product and existing distribution
  • Ensures delivery of sales, profits, retail performance goals, while building Hallmark brand relevance and consumer appeal through the lines managed   
  • Demonstrates in-depth understanding of financial tools and manages category and product P&L , costs, ROA, and contributed profit to exceed objectives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of business unit/line management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume will stand out if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, Product Development, or related fields
  • Broad understanding of Hallmark overall (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Ventures, etc.)
  • A deep understanding of the consumer needs within the Hallmark businesses
  • The ability to develop and act upon consumer and shopper insights through the generation of new and unique consumer product solutions
  • Ability to develop new business models ranging from product, supply chain, and financial models
  • Fluent in Spanish; knowledgeable of Latina/o/x culture
  • A good business partner with a high degree of talent and influence
  • Knowledge of developing social media and digital (ex. Amazon.com) strategies
