The Procurement Manager will work closely with business leaders throughout the company to help them better manage their vendor relationships to obtain better service and to drive cost savings and avoidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and implement a sourcing and procurement process by establishing procurement policies, guidelines and best practices and driving value and savings on purchases
  • Build/implement tools to objectively review suppliers (i) before purchase and (ii) for performance and continued due diligence after purchase
  • Define and track operational reporting and metrics needed to drive improvements and improve efficiency in the sourcing process
  • Perform industry benchmarking with respect to pricing, performance, service levels and other measurable standards
  • Review, update and communicate sourcing and procurement policies and build scalable processes to ensure compliance with these policies
  • Act as primary contact for all strategic purchases, including running an RFx and negotiating resulting agreement(s)
  • Work with legal team to updatecontracttemplates as needed
  • Work with security team to ensure suppliers are appropriately screened and reviewed on an ongoing basis
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with business leaders across Flexera


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business related field such as supply chain management
  • 5+ years supervisory experience in sourcing functions
  • Extensive knowledge of sourcing policies and best practices in procurement
  • Exceptional ability to effectively articulate difficult ideas and concepts through clear and concise verbal and/or written communication with the ability to build strategic relationships with business leaders across Flexera
  • Strong negotiator with an understanding of IT agreements, including SaaS
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Excellent computer skills required, including Microsoft Excel and back-office ERP systems.
