We are looking for a Commodity Director for our contract manufacturing operations center (CMOC) to help us achieve our goals. CMOC is a hybrid model of both classic factory operation and classic commodity operation. The contract manufacturing operations center (CMOC) Commodity Director will lead strategic procurement efforts across the CMOC for Electro-Mechanical Commodities that are built by our contract manufacturing supplier(s). This position will report to the Sr. Director, CMOC. You would be responsible fordeveloping, communicating, and executing the commoditycontract for the CMOC. You will work closely with the team to plan, organize, and control tactical and strategic activities with this key supplier to provide the highest performing and lowest cost supply solution.

Grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction through the procurement and sourcing functions. Contribute to business growth by identifying and mitigating contractual risks and making informed and strategic decisions related to supplier agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish and drive procurement of material and services in alignment with business Leadership for your business unit as per Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will support medium - large business and have global responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve lowest Total Cost , reduced working capital via High Growth Region Sourcing, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will manage Supplier Performance to support your business unit / LOB an ensure supply continuity. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, Export /Import regulations.

Drive and Deliver Productivity and Working Capital ObjectivesDrive Supplier Performance to meet Cost Targets and Quality and Delivery ObjectivesDevelop top and diverse talent in a connected global economyDrive negotiation of annual pricing in accordance with allowable contract termsLead yearly contract and site reconciliation

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 10 years + experience in operations, supply chain management, sourcing, or procurement
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive results in a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead change, effectively build high performing teams, and model high performance standards
  • Persistent drive for results, utilizing sound project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong negotiation skills & knowledge of operations management and supply chain processes in a large organization
  • Complex and Large Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
  • Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
  • Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
  • Experience with SAP, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
  • Six Sigma green belt or black belt certification
  • Experience with procurement/supply chain contracts
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
