The candidate will be responsible for independently developing proposed acquisition policies and procedures for review by Government personnel; provides advice and guidance to acquisition personnel and individuals with delegated acquisition authority; performs acquisition management reviews of contract files; performs data quality reviews of information in FPDS-NG and provides briefs on acquisition topics and FAR changes at monthly contracting forums.
Candidate must have at least five years acquisition experience with at least two years of that experience in carrying out complex tasks related to the administration of Federal Government acquisitions, acquisition policy, or a Federal agency’s purchase card program.
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent understanding of the Federal Acquisition process and in depth knowledge of Federal contracting laws and regulations. Possesses strong analytical skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.
