Job Description:

Maxim is seeking a Process Integration Engineer in the Beaverton Oregon area to provide support to Manufacturing Operations by optimizing existing manufacturing processes. Manufacturing processes at the Beaverton site include processing of analog/mixed-signal products and device testing related to these processes.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    Problem solving based on application of parameter test data

    Leadership of teams of engineers focused on resolving acute or chronic problems

    Monitoring statistical process control (SPC) metrics of electrical parameters and leading resolution of parameters not meeting goal

    Owning and responding to yield metrics for process technologies

    Writing and maintaining electrical specifications for process flows

    Training and mentoring engineering technicians

    Improvement of manufacturing efficiency of existing processes

Minimum Qualifications     

    Master’s Degree or above in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related with an emphasis on fabrication and operation of semiconductor devices

    Minimum GPA of 3.5 for undergraduate and graduate-level coursework

    Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a semiconductor fab environment

Preferred Qualifications     

    Thesis or coursework related to semiconductor process technology and device physics

    Experience with fabrication in a cleanroom environment

    Superb computer and math skills, including statistics

    Able to communicate with audience at any technical level

    Adaptable, detail-oriented, practical thinker, and problem solver who is a quick learner and has the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    Self-starter with a strong worth ethic who will thrive in a dynamic 24/7 operation
