The Process Improvement Manager develops, manages and executes complex performance improvement initiatives to enhance both clinical and non-clinical operations using a wide range of improvement tools and methodologies. Reporting to the Administrative Director, the Process Improvement Manager provides strategic, analytical and project management support to the hospital's staff and leadership in initiatives aimed at operating more efficiently, safely and delivering a better patient experience. This role also provides classroom training and just-in-time coaching on key performance improvement methodologies as needed. The Process Improvement Manager plays a leadership role in the Department of Quality Resource Services by serving as a mentor to other team members.
Job Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Health care or Quality related field, with minimally seven (7) years experience. A higher level degree in Quality Management, Systems/Process Engineering, Health care Management, or related field preferable. A recognized certification in process improvement methods (e.g. LeanSix Sigma at the black belt level.) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook. Demonstrated ability to use Visio and other PI tools to document PI processes. Able to manage multiple simultaneous tasks and prioritize according to established criteria and protocols. Good organizational and communications skills, both verbal and written.
