Tetra Tech is searching for a Process Engineering Department Manager who will be responsible for the design of treatment systems for chlorinated solvents and PFAS. Also supporting NASA projects and assisting in the development and growth of environmental services for Federal, State, Local, and Commercial Clients. This position will also support the Senior Manager with routine office/project functions (e.g., financial, staffing, employee development, etc.). This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on. This position may report to an office location in Pittsburgh PA or Tampa FL and may be remote.

Your Role:
• Managing a team to design and implement environmental remediation processes.
• Resolving process failures with process engineers for solutions.
• Support environmental remediation, wastewater treatment, and oil and gas projects.
• Lead the preparation of performance monitoring reports, specifications, cost estimates, technical documents, and contracts.
• Planning and managing a departmental budget.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
• BS degree in chemical engineering or a related engineering discipline is required.
• Experience with environmental remediation, water and wastewater treatment, and oil and gas related projects is desirable.
• Experience as project engineer for bioremediation of chlorinated volatile organic compounds in groundwater, remedial alternative designs for contamination containment systems, preparing performance monitoring results, and water treatment plant assessment.
• Experience supporting PFAS remediation projects.
• Registration (ex: PE, PG, etc) or certification (ex: PMP, CHMM, etc) is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze and interpret scientific and technical materials.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in environmental remediation.
