Process Development Engineer - Electrochemistry
Improve compound semiconductor fabrication processes on wafer level inside cleanrooms and analyze process data.
*** Develop various wafer process steps including photolithography, wet and dry etching, PECVD, metal deposition, and plating.
*** Perform wet wafer processing utilizing chemicals such as: corrosive acids, bases, solvents, and similar.
*** Compile and evaluate process data into process reports to establish statistical process control (SPC).
*** Process yield analysis and tool performance metrics to develop and characterize each process used in wafer fabrication.
*** Verify part or process conformance to specification with inspection tools such as: optical microscopes, profilometers, ellipsometers, and SEMs (scanning electron microscope).
*** Maintain and calibrate production machines including mask aligners, hot plates, ovens, Plasma-Enhanced Chemical Vapor Deposition related machines, E-beam evaporators, thermal processing equipment, and various pumps.
*** Create process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents.
