LOB Specific Description:

This role in Consumer Client Underwriting will support the CLTS (Consumer Lending Transformation Strategy) and proactively identify improvement opportunities across the business based on key performance metric results compared to goals, process capabilities and/or industry standards.  Will assess ideas and potential opportunities, root cause issues and make recommendations based on data driven analysis of impact. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Program management of CLTS efforts aligned to Enhanced Models and Scorecards & Decision Automation
  • Development/implementation of Consistent Client-centric Underwriting leveraging new profiles, data and scores developed as part of CLRA (Client Level Risk Assessment)
  • Development of business cases
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • May in-directly manage teams to achieve process or project objectives
  • Project/Process management across Client Underwriting and include multiple products and/or lines of businesses
  • May be Green Belt or Black Belt certified

Project management oversight which include:

  • Business and technology partner engagement, analytical insight,  process design, and senior leader communication. 

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years Process improvement/design and project management experience- within Consumer Lending/Client Underwriting and Protection
  • 3 + years demonstrated experience synthesizing and interpreting data for analytics/reporting/trends, utilizing SAS, SQL, and other like tools
  • 3 + years of experience of independently developing strategy and translating strategies into tactical action plans/countermeasures utilizing milestone strategy/methodology to drive impactful results
  • Creative, strategic, and strong business centric mindset with the ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes
  • Strong communication and power point presentation skills; able to target messaging to different audiences
  • Ability to navigate enterprise, research and resource information across the bank
  • Highly organized and able to effectively multi-task and plan/manage deliverables
  • Strong ability to establish relationships with partners and peers across teams in order to achieve optimal results
  • Strong ability to influence and lead diverse groups to achieve desired results
  • Knowledge of credit systems and processes

Desired Skills:

  • A deep understanding of business unit functional areas, products, services and processes and working knowledge of general bank policies, programs and procedures
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Data Stores and processes associated with client data
  • Knowledge of Underwriting and Fulfillment, including strategy design and implementation
  • Six Sigma – Green Belt or Black Belt Certified.
